摘要：Buying a home is the biggest investment that most people make during their lifetimes. First, the paper presents a briefing on the state of home-ownership in different industrial state and the evolution of house prices in the last two decades. After that, the paper presents the property prices in relation to earnings in this period. Finally, there are some considerations about the cost of buying and selling property.
