摘要：People with visual impairments in general show difficulties in setting parameters on their body image. The purpose of this study was to determine parameters of the body image of individuals with visual impairments practicing regular physical activity and sedentary. For that, 18 visual impaired adolescents with mean age of 12.27 years (± 2.13) were assessed. For that, it was used a semi structured questionnaire with questions related to self-perception of their body image, motor skills and psychosocial aspects. The results showed that adolescents have an accurate perception of body image and high self-esteem.
