摘要：The countries of Eastern Europe have been confronted for more than 14 years with a complex process consisting of internal transformations during their preparations for EU accession. On the first of May 2004, eight of those countries, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Slovenia, have become members of European Union.
