摘要:Survey data collected from one thousand secondary and primary school age cohort on
the verge of graduation were analysed to determine the perception of their vocational and labour
information needs as well as the extent to which the perception of these needs were coloured by sex
differences. The results of this study indicate high levels of vocational and labour market needs
amongst both primary and secondary near-school leavers. The results of this study also show no
significant differences that exist in the mean response scores of male and female primary and secondary
school near-leavers on their perception regarding their vocational and labour market needs. Implications
were discussed and recommendations made.
