摘要：The solid geology of the area is dominated by metamorphic quartzite and feldspars attributed to the Tarskavaig Assemblage of the Moinian Series (British Geological Survey 1970, 1979). Numerous intrusive basalt dykes of Tertiary age run through the locality in aNW–SEdirection. The region is characterized by a highly exposed and indented coastline with high cliffs overlooking rocky platforms.
