摘要：The Ranch of Challet, a property of the 1st Baron of Nova Friburgo built between 1850 and 1860, had its gardens projected by Auguste François Marie Glaziou, a renowned French landscaper gardener who worked in Brazil in the second half of the nineteenth century. In our article, we sought to show how Challet´s Ranch brings forth a singular perspective to understand Glaziou´s work: the stylistic mix of the French with the English landscape gardening.
