摘要:This work presents preliminary results of a research made in recent years about schools which have Indians among their students in Argentina. The research was performed under different institutional support: the University of Buenos Aires, the Ministry of Education and some teacher unions. It attempts to characterize the teachers conceptions of Indians students, focusing on their images of two central aspects on which they plan their schooling actions: learning possibilities and patterns of socialization. At the same time the work reflects on the priorities, possibilities and obstacles to teaching practices in contexts of cultural and linguistic diversity. Finally, based on the above reflections, it proposes some criteria to be considered in the design of the educational policy.
