This work represents a study the psychosocial development of a group of children about six years old who have stayed for a period of approximately two years in a Children's Care Center. This group has been compared whith one in which the children have remained under their parent's care. In order to apply these tests, two primary schools were selected at random, schools which are located in Santa Clara. From these schools 50 first grade children were chosen also at random. For this purpose we used and adaptation of the "Psychosocial developing scale" of Claude-Zazzó as our of operation. We set up as an hypothesis the fact that first grade children who remain for a period of two years or more in a Children's Cara Center, show a greater psychosocial development than these who have never been in such an instruction. Our statistical analysis has demostrated that our hypothesis is correct.
