摘要：Arbitration has long played an important role in commercial relations with Russian
entities. The two leading arbitration institutions in Russia¡ªthe International Commercial
Arbitration Court (MKAS) and the Russian Maritime Arbitration Commission
(MAK), both attached to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian
Federation¡ªdate back to the nineteen thirties and have a good track record in settling
international commercial disputes. Since the nineteen seventies Russian entities
have also agreed to arbitration outside Russia.
