摘要:The EC neighbourhood policy is under pressure. The Russo-Georgian
war, the confusion in Ukraine, the volatile energy and food prices, etc.,
are adding stress to the uncertainties surrounding the accession of the
Western Balkan countries and Turkey.1 These difficult circumstances are
a strong motive to review in depth the economic foundations of the
current neighbourhood policy in order to see whether it suits well the
interests of the EC and its neighbors. Such a review requires us to look at
the following six key questions (in six sections).
