摘要:The aim of this study is to investigate the validity and reliability of Website Evaluation Scale (WES) which is designed to be used in Science and Technology teaching. In the study, general survey model within descriptive research methods is used, and the scale is administered to 438 upper primary 8th grade students. Factor analysis was conducted in order to determine the construct validity. At the evaluation stage, a scale which has 4 factors and consisting of 21 items obtained. The total internal reliability coefficient of scale was calculated as 0.925. Results show that scale items in terms of total item correlation changed between 0.505 and 0.634. Results indicate that factor values also changed between 0,495 and 0,721; and total variant of the scale was expressed as 60,683%. Through this study, a required scale for the evaluation of websites on the Internet was developed, however, it can be suggested that people who use websites should reconsider of this types of evaluation scales.
