摘要：Defined benefit pension plans have been an important part of retirement income systems with widespread pension plans. In Canada, Ireland, the United Kingdom and the United States, voluntary employer-provided pensions are widespread. In all four countries, however, defined benefit plans have declined while defined contribution plans have increased among private sector employees.
