摘要：Visual observations provide a wealth of information that greatly enhance the ability to study
animals and the environment they live in. The difficulties associated with observing animals
in the marine environment has meant that underwater research has suffered in the past from
an inability to properly observe aquatic species in their natural habitat. It is not surprising
therefore, that improved video technology has gone hand in hand with an increase in the
