  • 摘要:Like the texture which consists of thread, colour and motif, the poem consists of sound, letter and images. The explaining of the the poem with the image of texture has been known since at least the 16th. century.As an important trade center, Aleppo with its texture came into prominence in Ottoman internal market. Nâbi’s using of analogy between his poems and Aleppo’s texture was accepted by his contemporary and following poets because he lived in Aleppo for 22 years. Thus, in the classical period, for the definition of the original and perfect poem, the image of Aleppo’s texture became widespread.The changes in the in trade routes caused in the changes in delight and mentality like in the case of those in social-economic fields. The image of texture in the poetry got new meanings by adapting these changes.Şeyh Gâlip who adopted Indian style of poetry, compares his poets with Indian texture with Nâbi’s poets with Aleppo’s texture. The other poets who followed the way that Şeyh Gâlip opened, agree with this idea. As a result of this, inspite of the poets who used this image, Aleppo’s texture is used to express classical/old poetry and Indian texture is used to express modern poetry. The changes in their meanings can be evaluated as an effort to transform these two images to the symbols indicating old and modern poetries.
