This article presents the results of a study about the use that do
one Chemistry teachers group of different types from semiotic representations.
This study shows that the diagrams and the statements are the more used
representations, than the equations are less used of which it would be possible
to hope and that, the cartesian graphs are less used in the class of sciences. In
addition the study reveals that in agreement it is progressed in the academic
level grows the preference by the use of no graphical representations
(statements and equations) and decreases the preference by representations
of graphical type (cartesian diagrams and graphs).i
