摘要：The analysis of the structure of the landslides within the Ialomiţa basin, which developed on the domain of the Carpathian flysch outcrop, emphasizes the importance of the tectonic factor in the distribution and prognosis of their evolution. The deciphering of the geological and tectonic structure of the landslides basis shows that there must be a connection between their starting and the great tectonic fractures. From this point of view, beside factors that start and maintain the phenomena of terrain instability, there are at least two aspects that must be taken into account: the faults establish a contact between geological formations with different lithological and mineral structures, which triggers major consequences in the weight of some instability factors, like the hydrological one, for instance; on the other hand, some faults are still active, determining the modification of some of their components, which triggers implications on the gravity factor. Such correlations were possible after the earthquake that took place on March 4, 1977, when, within this area, new landslides started or some older ones were reactivated. The modification of the position of the components of certain faults was obvious during the next earthquakes, as well (1986, 1990), but we must underline that there is some inertia in the release of the terrain instability related to them.
