摘要:On the French territory, two kinds of spaces and agricultures can be highlighted: industrialized and competitive agricultural zones, providing the sectoral networks for large markets of consumption and export, and territories carrying an agriculture of labels with a high density of quality products, inserted in more localised forms of coordination, in which proximity relationships prevail. Nevertheless, these two polar models leave sometimes place to a more ambivalent one, which seems to combine at the same time a good level of competitiveness and the production of quality products. This “third way” between modernity and tradition, if it did exist, would constitute obviously a model to be followed in order to change modernised paths considered often detrimental with health and the environment. The main aim of this paper is to check up its real or illusory existence, taking as example the French Bresse, kind of hybrid model of territorial (re)construction of quality, where would remain dominant forms of sectoral coordination. To test this assumption, we adopt a historical approach and analyze the evolution of agricultural systems of productions in this area since the thirties.
