摘要：The Preliminary Program for the 72nd SAA Annual Meeting
in Austin, TX, April 25¨C29, 2007 was mailed in early
January and posted on SAAweb in late December. The
sessions will be held in the Austin Convention Center, which
boasts nearly 900,000 square feet of space. There will more than
2,000 presentations, 170 sessions, and 350 posters. The diversity
of geographical areas represented, topical foci, theoretical perspectives,
and practical applications are most impressive. There
will be 20 concurrent sessions every day, including Thursday
evening and Sunday morning. I would like to call your attention
to just a few of the highlights of the meeting:
