摘要：The Lerna archaeological site is located about 12 km from Argos near the small village of Myloi ( Fig. 1). The site is a hillock oval in shape measuring about 160- 180 m and rising 5.5 m above the surrounding plains. In the years 1952-1957 exploration of the site was conducted by J.L. Caskey (1960) together with a large group of coworkers representing American School as well as Archeological Council. Caskey¡¯s exploration of the site showed the presence of Neolithic as well as Bronze Age archaeological horizons containing settlement structures and a great amount of archaeological finds (pottery, bones, stone implements etc.).
