摘要：The central objective of this paper is to evaluate the Brazilian insertion in the international trade of agricultural produces considering Word Trade Organization – WTO, as regulatory institution; and the performance of Brazilian commercial politics in this context. It is discussed until what point Brazilian commercial politics has the desired effects in the sector, knowing that this is enormously affected by the regulation, or even actions of the trade (or retaliations) that happen in the international context. At first it is done a historical analysis of the Brazilian commercial politics and its effects on the commerce flows of Brazilian agricultural produces. In the second part, it is inferred the present situation of the exportations and importations of these products, an evaluation of the measures of commercial politics and its effects on these flows of commerce. In international terms, interesting is the fact that the countries which are considered rich, destine considerable amounts in support to agriculture, given its distributive effects on its economies, while Brazil destines a greater (and laborious) effort to the industry, which concentrates the income and does not have the right reply in terms of insertion in the international market, besides the ridiculous performance of Brazilian commercial politics in the guarantee of markets for both sectors, mainly for agriculture.
