摘要：In the current work I will try to offer a semiotic interpretation of the hyper-textual form called a “blog”. To do this I will give an analytical and descriptive exposition of the “blog” and consider its cultural-linguistic function as a new channel of communication. I will compare this type of hyper-textual character with traditional textual forms in order to establish the communicative and artistic possibilities of it. The fundamental difference between the hypertext (in the form of a blog) and a traditional written text is its “multi-sequentiality”. The “blog” is considered here, therefore, as a new form of cultural communication (still in process, without a closed temporality) which redefines, as much in the form as in the content, the communicative and cultural expressions of our time through the great hypertext or the integral cyber-textual form: Internet.
