摘要:ECD-GA notices that in the period 1991-97 about 14-15% of total foreign direct investment (FDI) in Romania was invested in the food industry. Scrieciu argues that the inclusion of agro-food trade into the regional integration agreement is likely to bring benefits to Romanian producers of mainly live (bovine) animals and meat products, sugar, and cereal grains. Heilmayr claims that since the first regulations regarding organic agriculture in Romania were issued in 2000, the country has seen a steady and rapid rise in the amount of land and number of processing facilities adhering to organic standards.
