During the development of internship it was possible to verify that a group of deaf children was living with difficulty because of the limitations inherent to this condition. Thus, with the purpose of providing subsidies to enhance the intervention strategies developed with this population, it was accomplished a psychological investigation of the referred group (6 girls and 5 boys, from 6 to 12 years old). The House-Tree-Person Test was take as instrument because is a sensitive and disclosure technique, that overcomes the difficulties in communication of deaf people. The analyze of collected drawings indicates that children have feelings of non-adjustment and inferiority, tendency to isolation and bashfulness, and have severe difficulties on their relationships. Thereby, the present study made possible to express important psychological aspects of these children.
