摘要:This paper examines the signification of rural extension
services from the 1940s to the present, keeping in view the historical
contexts in which they evolved. We believe we can thereby deduce that
the problem of popular context development by way of rural outreach
services and fishing does not lie with their signification, but rather more
with budding interactions between their “neighbouring areas” of expertise
and the political stance of organizations and technicians in contact
with the environment in question.
