摘要：We present the rediscovery of Macroagelaius subalaris in the municipality of Soatá, Boyacá, Colombia, after more than 50 years without records of this species in the zone. We made observations throughout 15 days in Alto de Onzaga, where we could register groups of up to 40 individuals; we also documented some aspects of the natural history of this bird as its social behavior with other Icterids and other species as Cyanocorax yncas, Melanerpes formicivorus, Buthraupis montana y Turdus fuscater. Information about the diet and the antropic threats that endanger this icterid in the zone are reported.
