摘要：Field work in the San Gil municipality (Department of Santander, Colombia) made possible the observation of three individuals of Amazilia castaneiventris, allowed a new locality for this threatened and endemic species of hummingbird to be documented. Furthermore, behavioral and ecological data were also gathered for this species. The new locality brings possibilities for the conservation of this threatened hummingbird.
