摘要：We present a comprehensive survey of two-particle correlations from p-p collisions at ps = 200 GeV. Correlations on transverse rapidity yt are separated into a soft component (longitudinal fragmentation) and a hard component (transverse fragmentation). Fragment correlations on transverse rapidity yt are compared to fragmentation functions frome+-e− collisions plotted on conventional logarithmicmomentum variable xp and rapidity y. Cuts on transverse rapidity isolate p-p angular correlations on (h,f ) for the two components. Hard-component angular correlations are compared to results from trigger-particle jet analysis. Angular correlations for low-pt fragments, corresponding to low-Q2 parton scattering, reveal a large asymmetry about the jet thrust axis.
