摘要:This study has aimed to investigate how cognitivestyle, learning strategy and skill differences influencestudent performance in different learningenvironments. In this respect, the study sampleconsisted of 310 students studying in four differentdepartments of the Business Administration Facultyof Dokuz Eylül University. Results show thatcognitive styles and learning strategies are important in explaining student performance, while theuniversity admission test as a measure of studentskills had no effect on student performance. An otherimportant finding was that the use of learningstrategies differed with respect to cognitive styles.
