  • 摘要:The analysis of six e-learning systems produced and used by French universities reveals that they are behind expectations. We explain this gap as an effect of a flawed institutionalization of e-learning innovations within the universities. The systems have the characteristics of « borderline-objects » : this situation helps maintaining the uncertainty necessary to the local innovations to emerge, but it also compromises the chances of the e-learning systems to survive.
