  • 摘要:Identity, since long a concept used in developmental theories on puberty and early adolescence, in this article is used as a concept describing the situational determined process of creating a distinct profile of the school. In this process, it is argued, the role of the principal of the school is of particular interest. The Self Confrontation Method (SCM) is supposed to play an important role in clarifying the autobiographical aspects of the principal’s main life theme in relation to his role of being the leading and motivating person in the creative process of identity development of the school. The principal’s life theme and the process of identity development of the school seem to be closely related.
