Access for juniors

Great to read David Leadbetter's comments on junior golf memberships. As the father of four girls, I've seen the difficulty they have finding other girls of similar ability to play with. Even my oldest, who is a 16-year-old 4-handicapper and gets invited to play with boys at some private clubs, has to show up after 3 p.m. Many public and private clubs don't offer reduced fees for junior guests.

Living in the Northeast, our winters are long, so we head South to Grandma's in Hobe Sound, Fla. This helps to get ready for the spring season. Possibly Mr. Leadbetter could talk to his friend Greg Norman about getting my daughter a membership at The Medalist Golf Club?
