TERROR 3 LOSE HEADS
SALLY SMITHTHREE terrorists have been publicly beheaded in Saudi Arabia.
The suspected al-Qaeda members were later displayed outside a mosque, their bodies tied to poles on top of which their heads were placed.
The three were beheaded with a sword in a public square in the northern Saudi city of al-Jawf where they carried out the murders, an Interior Ministry statement said.
They were convicted of killing a deputy governor, a religious court judge and police chief two years ago.
Islamic militants have carried out a string of suicide bombings and kidnappings and fought gun battles with security forces since May 2003.
The attacks have been blamed on Saudi-born Osama bin Laden's terror network.
