Innovation trailhead
Davis, BobAll that is keeping a bike trail in Anniston, Alabama, from connecting to one in Georgia is the completion of a bridge in a neighboring county. If the county commission were to spend a little cash, a rider could bike ninety miles from Anniston to Atlanta on a smooth trail.
It would be great for community life, great for local business, just plain great.
We wanted to call attention to all this in constructive way, so on Sunday, colleague John Fleming and his family rode from the east. (He lives in Atlanta.) My family rode from the west.
Oops, but we couldn't meet up: The trail's not finished.
We both wrote about our adventure. Best of all is the online slideshow with music.
