Leopards keyed up to tackle looming challenge of Towers
MARCO GIACOMELLIBASKETBALL: Essex Leopards coach Mike Taylor is looking forward to his first derby against the resurgent London Towers on Sunday, writes Marco Giacomelli.
The teams meet in the National Cup quarter-finals at the Brentwood Centre with the Leopards having never lost to their arch rivals in this competition.
Taylor said: "The fact there is some history between the teams, which I sense just from talking to our people, means it's a big game.
"Any time you play against an organisation like the Towers there is a lot of energy around it, so we are very excited."
