Knowledge + passion
David Pereira, IIII think I was 8 years old when I sent away for a booklet on building big arms. At 11, I got my first weight set. I read everything I could get my hands on about proper form, exercise sequence, set/rep schemes and body mechanics. Then I encouraged my friends to work out and set up routines for us.
I joined the Marines when I was 17 and trained in gyms all over the globe. I again started training others, bringing my fellow jarheads up to their maximum potential. After eight years in the Corps and a few odd jobs, I found one of the best certification programs on the planet and began my studies. Then I opened Orange County Body. Now I get paid to do what I love doing--what I've been doing for the past 18 years.
