Football: Bury are shaken rattled and rolled
NICK KINGTHE Shakers fell deeper into relegation trouble after debut boy Darren Bullock was given his marching orders after only 12 minutes.
The incident in which he clashed with City's Peter Grant looked suspiciously like the continuation of a feud between the two players when Bullock was playing for Swindon earlier in the season.
His dismissal left Bury with a mountain to climb. Their one ray of hope was their on-loan signing Paul Hall, who showed plenty of the skills which lit up the World Cup for Jamaica.
But it was the sending-off which left a bitter taste in Bury boss Neil Warnock's mouth after the match.
He said: "I did not see it at the time but I've had a look at the video and to be fair to the ref it looks a lot worse at normal speed than it does in slow motion."
Bury fell behind on the half hour when the ball ricocheted into the net off Craig Bellamy.
Craig Fleming later headed home to clinch it.
