Football: Gr-eight for Dons
DAVID HYDEABERDEEN racked up their eighth successive SPL win at Pittodrie to bury Saints.
The Perth side suffered when centre back Benito Kemble was forced out on 15 minutes with a facial injury, and was replaced by young David McClune, who did not have the same presence.
A senseless handball by former Manchester United winger Ben Thornley put Aberdeen in trouble. Fortunately for him, Paul Hartley's 20-yard free kick hit the bar and Nick Dasovic's header from the rebound was held.
On 24 minutes Kevin McNaughton's ball over the top of Saints defence released Darren Mackie. He picked out Winters for the winger to lob keeper Alan Martin.
