Your Letters: Clean up filthy NHS
J Budd,I WAS not surprised to read your report on the Royal London Hospital.
In April 1997 my late husband was admitted to this hospital for tests. He suffered from Parkinson's Disease, as well as a bladder problem.
Cleanliness was not a priority at the hospital even then.
When my husband's bed was soiled it wasn't changed and when he returned home, the bath towels on which he lay in the hospital were so filthy they had to be thrown out. His stay was not a pleasant one, and it sounds as if things have gone from bad to worse.
