YOUR SAY: Reader's letter

I WOULD like to pay tribute to a wonderful voluntary service - The Boyne Fisherman's Rescue Recovery/Garda Coastwatch.

They have saved many lives over the years and for families they were a beacon of light in our darkest hours.

These men are a credit to the rescue services and Drogheda, we would also like to thank Superintendent Fergus Doggett and all the Gardai in Drogheda Garda Station they are a real credit to the force.

To the volunteers thank you for your sensitivity and determination not to give up.

Our heartfelt thanks to you always.
