Legend Jim fixes a treat
NIKHITA MAHAJANSIR Jimmy Savile stunned BB contestants with his dramatic entrance to the house yesterday.
Wearing his trademark tracksuit and with gold chains around his neck, the eccentric presenter, now 79, arrived to the theme tune of his hit show Jim'll Fix It.
Michael Barrymore bowed down and clasped his hand as Jimmy introduced himself.
Later, the silver-haired star told tales of his showbiz past and meetings with The Beatles and Elvis Presley.
Jimmy, due to spend just 24 hours in the house, said of The Beatles: "They used to come to my club and I knew right then that they were world-class."
Most of the celebs were fascinated. But Dennis Rodman could be heard snoring and former Dead Or Alive frontman Pete was struggling to keep his eyes open.
Jimmy, due to leave the house last night, is returning this morning when he will "Fix It" for one housemate's wish to come true. Chantelle asked Jimmy, who was scoffing beans and sausages out of a tin: "Can you fix my broken heart?"
He replied: "I'll give you my address... that'll fix it."
Earlier yesterday basketball star Dennis sneaked into Faria's bed for a cuddle. Later he put his arm around her, saying: "You know you would."
But he failed to score as Faria replied: "I won't."
Romance was also on the cards between Preston and Chantelle. After a game of chase, the indie singer said: "Chantelle, if I didn't have a girlfriend, I'd marry you in a minute."
To which she replied: "I'd marry you too."
On Friday night housemates celebrated Traci's 38th birthday with a fancy-dress party and fruit punch.
She went as a glam devil in red, with Michael Barrymore as a mad doctor.
Maverick MP George Galloway drooled over Traci, saying: "I must say, the devil is absolutely gorgeous."
