Greg is confident
Richard EvansGREG RUSEDSKI is relishing the chance of meeting Boris Becker in the second round of the Monte Carlo Open in Monaco today,
If Tim Henman looked confused during his 6-2, 6-4 defeat at the hands of the Spanish qualifier Galo Blanco yesterday, the British No 1 will have no such doubts as he lines up against the German.
"I'm looking forward to the clay," said Rusedski told me. "I can get an advantage with my serve on any surface and I have played well enough on clay in the past." Rusedski will have been warned but not disheartened by the fine form Becker showed in beating Jan Siemerink in the first round. And although he has played two and lost two against Becker - at the Australian Open tennis championship and Stuttgart Indoors in 1996 - neither match was on clay.
