Tait is simply a jump ahead
ANN MARTINSHOW JUMPING: New Zealand's Blyth Tait, riding Ironic, proved a worthy winner of the main class at the Windsor Horse Trials, writes Ann Martin.
An outstanding dressage test gave Tait (right) a lead he never relinquished.
A confident round of cross-country, with only 0.8secs time penalties, and a showjumping clear round earned world and Olympic champion Tait a comfortable victory from Britain's Chris King on Sir Lancelot VI. Australian Matt Ryan was third on Bonza Katoomba.
CRICKET: Former Test fast bowler Joel Garner is to manage the West Indies A team on their tour of England this summer.
Garner has spent the last four years on the West Indies selection panel.
