I BLEW THE LOTTO SAYS pounds 1m WINNER
GORDON TAITA SCOTS Lottery winner claims he's penniless - only four months after scooping the jackpot.
George Oliver, 66, won pounds 1.1million in May but says he's "skint" already.
He gave pounds 700,000 to his three daughters, two grand- daughters and a great-grand-daughter, and invested pounds 100,000 in bonds which he can't access for years.
He then completed substantial home improvements his one-bedroom home in Bishopbriggs near Glasgow.
"I don't even have enough left for a new razor!" said the ex- lorry driver who retired for health reasons eight years ago.
Even the new widescreen TV he bought to watch his beloved Rangers had to be paid for from savings of his wife Sadie, 62, who still does overtime shifts as a cleaner at Stobhill Hospital.
"I'm sure most lottery winners would instantly think about fancy holidays and houses," he added - but he claimed to be "too old" to be lavish gifts on himself, while being "only too happy" to give so much money to his family.
