Grammar led 13-12 at the turn but Hawks went on to take the bonus point with tries from Steve Swindall, Steven Duffy and two from Wes Henry.
Grammar had a try from Mark McLean which Keith Oddie converted.
HERIOT'S unbeaten record went as they lost at home to MELROSE 18- 11.
Rose trailed 11-8 at the turn but Scott Ruthven's second penalty levelled it.
In the final minute No8 Kelly Brown got over and Ruthven converted.
Rose's first try was by Geoff Caldwell while Heriot's were scored by Andy Wilson and Ander Monro kicked two penalties.
PEEBLES left bottom with their first win scoring five tries in a 31-22 defeat of GLASGOW HA who replace them.
