Football: Robson's a master
MARK MCGUINNESSGERARD HOULLIER prepares to face up to Sir Bobby Robson tomorrow night admitting the Newcastle boss is the master of the transfer market.
Robson came into Newcastle when there was no money in the transfer pot and the club rooted to the bottom of the Premiership.
But within three seasons he has taken them to the Champions League and turned them into title contenders.
And Houllier believes this is down not just to his enormous enthusiasm and knowledge of the game, but also his sixth sense in the tough transfer market.
He said: "What I like about Bobby is that he not only has an eye for football, but he also buys well all the time."
