New faces:

The Spokane office of Coopers & Lybrand L.L.P. has hired the following people:

Lisa Benjamin and Gregory Peck joined the firm as business assurance associates. Benjamin graduated from Washington State University. Peck is a graduate of the University of Montana. Jennifer Thompson, previously serving an internship, joined the tax department after graduating from Eastern Washington University. Shelly Wray, another EWU graduate, also joined the tax department. Lesley Ackerman, who received a master's degree in professional accountancy from the University of Utah, joined the tax department. Valaurie Calprez joined Washington Trust Bank as vice president and manager of consolidated loan operations. Moving up: Carol Williams was promoted to regional human resources and administrative services manager for Trinity Universal Insurance Companies' Northwest Region in Spokane. Williams, who formerly worked for Wausau Insurance Cos., joined Trinity in 1993 as the regional human resources coordinator. Michael Reilly was promoted to managing executive of Sedgwick Noble Lowndes' Spokane employee benefits consulting practice. Reilly has more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry and most recently served as vice president and benefits manager in the firm's Spokane office. Coopers & Lybrand L.L.P. Spokane office announced the following promotions: Ellie Sykes was promoted to manager of business assurance in the Spokane office. Bruce Bowdish and David Risdon, both University of Montana graduates, were promoted to business assurance senior associates. Jody Gentemann was promoted to senior associate and transferred to the Spokane office from Seattle. Hecla Mining Co., Coeur d'Alene, appointed Stanley Hilbert as corporate controller. Hilbert, previously the assistant controller, replaces Joseph Heatherly, who has retired. Hilbert has been with Hecla since 1987. Elected: New officers of the Inland Empire Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators include: Karen Sprague, president; Frank Neeri, vice president/president-elect; Susan Wotring, secretary; Elizabeth Woodfill, treasurer; Zana Johnston, membership chair. Dianna Linquist, office manager of Air Control Heating & Air Conditioning, was elected chairman of the board of National Association of Credit Management Inland Northwest. Other officers include: Sara Hoyt, credit manager of Wayne Dalton/Crawford Door Sales, first vice chairman; Cathy Dixon, credit manager of Dupree Building Specialities, second vice chairman; and Rick Weisman, finance manager of Graybar Electric, immediate past chairman and counselor. Appointed: Windermere Property Management Services has been named to the board of directors for Meadowwood Vistas Homeowners Association. Meadowwood Vistas is a 68-home planned unit development at Meadowwood Golf Course. Windermere Property Management will assist the association with all phases of operation, including annual budgeting, service contracts, billing, architectural control, and compliance with covenants. Carol Neupert, director of development at Sacred Heart Medical Center, was appointed to the National Board of Directors for the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy to represent Region 12, which encompasses Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Alaska. Dale Wilson, director of the Community Services Division of the Northeast Washington Rural Resources Development Association in Colville, was appointed to a two-year term on the Affordable Housing Advisory Council of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Seattle.
