Football: Izzet off but Foxes still with the pack
DAVE SMITHLEICESTER had Muzzy Izzet sent off but still succeeded in preserving their 100 per cent record at the Walker Stadium.
A fourth-minute penalty from Paul Dickov was enough to settle this Midlands derby as Leicester extended their unbeaten run in the League to eight games.
The Scotland international was in the thick of things from the off, escaping a booking for deliberate hand-ball after three minutes and then winning a penalty on four.
Dickov himself took the spot-kick, and gave Wolves keeper Matt Murray no chance as he registered his sixth goal of the season.
Wolves battled their way back into contention after that early setback, and four good first-half chances fell to frontmen Nathan Blake and Shaun Newton.
Leicester were reduced to 10 men on 66 minutes when Izzet received a second yellow.
Wolves continued to push forward but found the City defence in belligerent mood.
And keeper Ian Walker made some key saves.MAN OF THE MATCH PAUL DICKOV
