New faces:

Phenneger & Morgan Inc. has hired the following people as pension consultants:

Ramona Caruso, who has a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Washington State University and more than four years of experience in plan administration.

Dale Stevens, who has 15 years of pension administration experience and specializes in administering leveraged ESOPs and 401(k) plans.

Darryl Saunders, a nine-year veteran of all phases of pension administration who will administer Phenneger & Morgan's new Daily Valuation and Voice Response system.

David Knutson, and Gage Stromberg have joined Witherspoon, Kelley, Davenport & Toole as associates. Knutson and Stromberg both graduated from The University of Washington and Gonzaga University School of Law. Knutson also received a Masters of Law degree from Georgetown University. His practice will focus on tax law, while Stromberg will emphasize corporate, securities, banking and business law.

Pat Runyan, was named general manager of Techline Studio-Spokane Inc. Runyan most recently served as an officer with Abby's Furniture Inc. in Missoula.

Mike Dodge joined Ginno Construction Inc. in Post Falls as Northwest Division project manager. Dodge has 16 years of construction experience and has managed various projects in the Kansas City and Denver areas.

Andrea Malone joined Trinity Universal Insurance Cos. Northwest regional office in Spokane as a claims adjuster. Malone formerly worked for North Idaho Insurance Agency in Sandpoint.

Dr. Ernest Gumprecht has joined Holy Family Hospital's active medical staff in the practice of cardiology. Gumprecht is a graduate of the University of Washington School of Medicine. He completed a residency at institutions affiliated with Rutgers Medical School and a fellowship at Mid America: Heart Institute of St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.

Spokane Racquet Club has appointed John Huebner as tennis director. Huebner is a former world-ranked player and is currently the Northern California senior player of the year.

Coeur d'Alene Mines Corp. has named Kenneth Collison as vice president and general manager of Coeur Alaska Inc., which oversees the Kensington gold project near Juneau. Collison has more than 28 years of mining experience in Canada and the United States, and most recently served as vice president of Crandon Mining Co. in Wisconsin.

Moving up:

Wayne Schneider was named area president of southwest Idaho community banking at First Security Bank. Schneider, a 20-year veteran, previously served as vice president and manager of the bank's Coeur d'Alene area.

John Vose has been promoted to the regional personal lines manager of Milwaukee Insurance Group, which is owned by Trinity Universal Insurance Cos. Vose has worked for Trinity since 1993.

Moving on:

Rodney Shriner, who served on the Kootenai Electric Cooperative board of directors for 21 years, has retired.

Robert Rickel of Bayview, Idaho, retired as director of the six Nationwide Insurance companies, part of Nationwide Insurance Enterprise. He was elected as a board member in 1984 and was the company's first director from the far West.

Starting up:

Mari Clack, a leader in civic, educational and philanthropic organizations, has formed Mari Clack & Associates to offer business training and facilitation services. Clack will develop customized training programs for local, regional and national clients in leadership, strategic planning, team building, customer service and fund-raising.

Express Rental Center, a division of Western States Equipment, opened at 4625 E. Trent as a full-service rental house, renting equipment by the day, week or month.

Elected:

Bill Flory, a Winchester, Idaho, wheat grower and past president of the Idaho Grain Producer's Association, was elected secretary/treasurer of the National Association of Wheat Growers (NAWG).

Northwest Farm Credit Services elected one new director and re-elected three others to its board of directors:

Art Lee, New Plymouth, Idaho, was elected to the board. Lee is co-owner and operator of Sunnyside Farm. William "Bill" Robison, of Rigby, Idaho; Clarence Van Dyke, of Manhattan, Mont.; and Gene Batali, of Wapato, Wash., were all re-elected. Batali was elected chairman of the board and Robert Krug, of Connell, Wash., was elected vice chairman.

The Inland Empire Utility Coordinating Council elected its board of officers for 1996: Linda Edwards, Mutual of Enumclaw, president; Kathy Wilson, Eller Corp., vice president; Merry Gregory, Cox Cable, treasurer; and Joe Boardman, AT&T, Washington Utility Coordinating Council director.

Appointed:

Kelly Hanson, RE/MAX Preferred, Realtors, was appointed to a two-year term as a local director of the Coeur d'Alene Association of Realtors. Hansen has seven years of real estate experience and holds a G.R.I. designation.

Kudos:

WenDt Advertising was named a national winner in the Vision Awards for 1995. A television commercial entitled, "Brewing Dreams" created by the agency for Washington Trust Bank was honored as a national winner in the category of banks, S&Ls, credit unions. It was produced by North by Northwest, also of Spokane.
