YOUR SAY: Reader's letter

THERE can be no doubt that this war is illegal. We are invading a sovereign nation and, lo and behold, the people are defending their country. What a surprise!

We are ALL now implicated in this illegality. The Nuremberg trials decided that individuals have international duties which transcend national obligations of obedience imposed by the state. This, in a legal sense, leaves the Cabinet, Parliament and members of the military in a decidedly dodgy position.
