YOUR SAY: IT DRIVES ME MAD
E HarrisTHE new breed of bus driver has, of course, much to think of - driving the bus, taking fares and the like.
But it does not excuse the way we, the passengers, are treated.
I am registered blind, and am easy to spot with dark glasses and a white stick, yet before I can find a seat or even a handrail to hold, the bus is off at high speed.
Travelling by bus can be very scary for the disabled. Last year we saw two elderly women flung to the floor of a bus through the driver's sudden acceleration.
Timetables are rarely kept, so what's the hurry?
